Receiving an assistance of whatever kind is a big help to Aeta farmers considering the pandemic crisis.  Many of them do not have rice land and they only gather available saleable crops in the mountain and planting assorted crop like root crop, vegetables, bananas and other fruit bearing trees. Any harvest is sold in the market or to some commercial buyer reaching their place. Whatever income they gained is used to buy rice and other essential basic needs of the family. Therefore, the food pack distribution given to them is a big support to each family for them to survive.
